Local Delivery Policy

At Purposeful Petals, our mission is to deliver beautiful, locally grown flowers while supporting charitable causes. For local deliveries, you do not need to purchase Route protection. All local orders are delivered directly by Purposeful Petals or one of our trusted delivery partners. This allows us to maintain full control over handling, timing, and care—ensuring you receive the freshest, most beautiful flowers possible.

Because floral arrangements are perishable and custom-designed, returns are not accepted. However, customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. If there is ever an issue with your delivery, refunds or redeliveries will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is always to make things right and ensure you’re delighted with your flowers. 

Your trust matters to us, and we stand behind every bouquet we deliver locally.

Shipping Delivery Policy

We work hard to ensure that each hand-tied bouquet, plant, or gift arrives in excellent condition. However, due to the perishable nature of our products and shipping factors, issues can sometimes occur.
We evaluate each customer inquiry on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny requests for refunds or redelivery due to, but not limited to: quality issues, fulfillment errors, product misinterpretation, or insufficient proof of the issue.
Please note: We cannot provide refunds or redeliveries for delays or damages caused by shipping, weather, package loss, or theft. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

Route Package Protection

Why Are We Asking You to Pay for Delivery Insurance?

Because once a package leaves our hands, it’s out of our control. Fresh flowers are delicate and time-sensitive, and while we pack every bouquet with care, the moment it enters a carrier’s system, the responsibility shifts to them. Weather delays, rough handling, and routing issues can all affect the final result, with no fault on your part or ours.

In the past, we tried to absorb the cost of every damaged or delayed shipment ourselves. But as a small nonprofit committed to supporting veterans and kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities, replacing every order out of pocket would eventually threaten our mission. We simply can’t give generously and sustainably if we are also covering the financial burden of carrier mistakes.

Delivery insurance ensures you’re protected and it protects our ability to keep serving others. It allows us to replace or refund your bouquet quickly when something goes wrong, without jeopardizing the charitable work at the heart of Purposeful Petals.

Your support helps us keep giving. Delivery insurance helps us keep going.

What if I don’t purchase Route?

If you decline protection and the carrier delays, damages, or loses your package, we’re unable to offer free replacements or refunds. As a small nonprofit, absorbing those costs would take away from the mission at the heart of Purposeful Petals.
