1. Introduction
Welcome to Purposeful Petals Co., Inc. (“Purposeful Petals,” “Purposeful Petals, The Nonprofit Florist,” “we,” “us,”
or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your use of our website, purposefulpetalsco.org (the “Site”), and any
services provided through it. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any
other guidelines posted on the Site. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or services.
We may also interact with you on third-party platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn,

platforms. You should review their terms before engaging there.
2. Description of Services
Through
purposefulpetalsco.org, Purposeful Petals provides users with the ability to purchase flower
arrangements, plants, and other gift products and services (“Goods” and “Services”).
3. Shipping and Delivery
We ship arrangements, bouquets, plants, and gifts throughout the continental United States.
● Deliveries to P.O. Boxes or hospitals are not accepted.
● Delivery carriers may not knock or ring the doorbell; recipients should be notified once items arrive.
● Delivery dates may be impacted by weather, natural disasters, or other factors outside our control.
● Orders during peak holidays (Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) should be placed
early for best selection and timely delivery.
We recommend Route Package Protection for all shipments to insure against loss, damage, delays, or theft.
Purposeful Petals is not responsible for delays or damages once packages leave our fulfillment facilities.
4. Order Changes & Corrections
Changes to orders are limited and may not be possible during peak periods or close to delivery dates. Users are
responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Incorrect addresses may result in non-delivery, and
Purposeful Petals is not responsible for refunds in these cases.
5. Payments, Discounts, and Sales Tax
● Payments are processed securely via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, or
Google Pay.
● Discounts, promotional offers, and gift cards may have specific terms and cannot always be combined.
● Sales tax will be applied based on the shipping address and applicable local rates.
All purchases are non-refundable unless Route Package Protection or other quality issues apply.
6. Use of Site & Intellectual Property
The Site, purposefulpetalsco.org, and all content, including text, images, logos, and designs (“Content”), are
owned by Purposeful Petals and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

information are outlined in our Privacy Policy. Payments are processed securely, and your information is never
sold to third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
● Purposeful Petals is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including delays or damage
to flower orders.
● We make no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or security of the Site or services beyond what is
described.
Use of the Site and services is at your own risk.
9. Indemnification & User Responsibility
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purposeful Petals, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and
affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
● Your use of the Site or services,
● Violations of these Terms,
● Infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights, or
● Any claims related to the care or delivery of products.
Users are responsible for accurate information, compliance with laws, and protecting account login details.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith
negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
Users waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.
11. Modifications & Updates
Purposeful Petals reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on
purposefulpetalsco.org with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the
revised Terms. Users are responsible for reviewing Terms periodically.
12. Local Deliveries
A delivery fee applies to each order and each address. The fee is $10 for Chapel Hill and Carrboro, $15 for
Hillsborough and Durham zip codes 27705, 27707, 27713, and 27701, and $20 for all other areas. For deliveries
outside our regular area, we will make every effort to deliver directly, or we may arrange service through a local
florist near the destination.
Please note that during busy seasons like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, we may need to temporarily limit
orders to certain zip codes. Orders delivered during high-demand times (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day week, and
Christmas) include a small $2.50 surcharge to help cover the cost of hiring additional drivers.
Orders placed before 12:00 pm (noon) qualify for same-day delivery (by 11:00 am on Saturdays). At peak times,
earlier cut-off times may apply, and any changes will be reflected in the delivery options at checkout.
If your order requires a specific delivery time or method, please include that information when placing the order. We
will do our best to meet your request within reason. If the recipient is not home, and weather conditions allow, we
will leave the flowers in a safe, visible spot and notify them with a text, voicemail, or door tag. If temperatures are
too hot or too cold for safe delivery, we will either arrange a suitable delivery time in advance or leave a door tag
asking the recipient to contact us.
For international deliveries, please call us directly to place your order.
13. Pricing and Payment
All orders are charged on the day they are placed, regardless of the scheduled pickup or delivery date. This ensures
your price is guaranteed at the time of purchase and will not increase later.
14. Substitutions
From time to time, certain flowers may not be available. In these cases, we will substitute with blooms of equal or
greater value while keeping the overall look, color scheme, and style of the arrangement as close as possible to the
original.
If a major substitution is necessary—or if you have indicated that substitutions are not acceptable—we will contact
you by phone or email for approval before proceeding. Minor substitutions (such as vases, containers, or decorative
elements) may be made when needed, but the design and theme will always be preserved.
15. Cancellations and Complaints
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if we are notified by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. Later
cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis. For weddings or special events, cancellation terms will be
outlined in the quote.
We are committed to a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you or your recipient are ever unhappy with your flowers or
service, please contact us right away. We promise to work with you to resolve the issue and ensure your experience
is positive.
By using purposefulpetalsco.org, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these
Terms of Use.
