About Us

Service to others has always been at the center of our lives. Purposeful Petals began when our son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder known as Smith–Magenis Syndrome. In that moment, we felt called to make a greater impact—not just for him, but for all children and families with special needs.

After retiring from Army Special Operations, I carried forward the same commitment to mission, integrity, and serving others. We channeled that purpose into building something that could truly make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

At Purposeful Petals, flowers don’t just brighten a day. They carry love, hope, and support to charities doing meaningful work. Our charitable focus is centered on two groups close to our hearts: veterans and people with special needs. These communities inspire our mission and guide our giving.

Trust is the foundation of our work. We openly share where donations go, how they are used, and the real-world difference they make. You should always know how your gift helps others. As a nonprofit, we disclose all financial data to ensure accountability.

Unreasonable Hospitality

It means going above and beyond in every interaction by serving our customers, partners, and community with warmth, intention, and genuine care.
